DELFT BLUE

Delftware began as a Dutch imitation of Chinese porcelain from the Ming Dynasty that was first imported into the Netherlands in the early 17th century. Delft was even discovered used as wall tiles in Amsterdam from the 1650's. Today our Delftware comes handpainted and imported from Holland.

Delft tiles are perfect for permanent installations, such as kitchen backsplashes, fireplaces, bathrooms and cabinetry. Our delft is fired to over 1700 degrees Farenheit in the production process so delft tiles will easily handle all normal household uses.
